Headway Holds Educational Seminar in Makassar, Indonesia

On May 24, Headway organized an offline seminar in collaboration with the Makassar Trader Community. The event brought together aspiring traders and university students for a deep dive into the fundamentals of Forex trading.

Forex is not a game

Held at the Continent CentrePoint Hotel in Makassar, the seminar gathered 80 participants – including 6th-semester students studying capital markets – for an intensive learning experience. The event aimed to dispel common misconceptions about trading and promote a professional, skill-based approach to financial markets.

The seminar covered key topics such as:

• Introduction to capital markets with a focus on Forex and gold
• Technical strategies and charting tools
• Fundamental analysis and economic indicators
• Trader psychology and risk management

With guidance from expert speakers and Headway partners, participants explored trading as a structured discipline rather than speculation. Many left the event better equipped to navigate the markets with confidence and analytical thinking.
