How to Stay Updated on Market News with Headway: Adjusting Your Email Settings

Headway always makes it a point to inform you of the most important market news, trading hours changes, and company announcements. But have you been receiving them all? If you noticed that some of our emails haven’t reached you, this article is for you! Learn how to adjust your email settings and keep in touch with important market updates.

Why don’t I receive Headway’s emails?

Unless you have intentionally unsubscribed from our newsletters, you should receive every email we send out. However, email service providers can also have the final say in what gets delivered to your inbox. Most of the time, it’s a good thing because it protects you from spam and fishing attempts. But it can also prevent you from receiving useful updates from Headway.

To solve this issue, add Headway’s email addresses ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]) to your contact list. Here is a quick guide on how to do it in different services.

Gmail

1. Click “Contacts” in the right-side tab.
2. Press “+ Create contact.”
3. Enter the name and our email addresses, then click “Save.”

Apple mail

1. Click “Mail” on the upper toolbar and choose “Settings.”
2. Select “Rules.”
3. Give your rule a name in the description box. Next, set up your rule in the following way: “If any of the following conditions are met,” “From,” and “Contains.” Type in Headway’s email addresses and select “Move message” to mailbox “All inboxes.” Click “OK” to save the rule.
4. When asked for confirmation on applying new rules, choose “Apply.”

Yahoo!

1. Click on the Contacts icon in the right-side tab.
2. Click “+ Add a new contact” at the bottom of the tab.
3. Enter the name and our email addresses, then click “Save.”

Outlook

1. Click on the People icon in the left-side tab.
2. Click “New contact” or use the combination Shift + N.
3. Enter Headway’s email addresses in the new window and click “Save.”

How to receive emails in your language

If you would like to get emails in another language, you can change it in your account settings. Here is what you need to do:

• Click on your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen in your Personal Area or the app;
• Scroll down to Account settings and click on Communication language;
• Choose your language in the drop-down menu.

After doing this, you will start receiving emails and notifications in the language you prefer.

If you have the Headway app installed, you can receive instant push notifications to your phone. To enable them, go to your device’s settings and allow the Headway app to send you notifications.
